Production process of 500KG copper melting furnace lining

 

1 Material preparation

1) conbination powder for making furnace lining 600KG(Mix the conbination powder and water in a ratio of 100:4

2) Asbestos fabrics(Prepare according to the actual volume size of furnace)

3) Sodium silica(The solution of Sodium silica and water is in a ratio of 1:1.5 to form liquid)

4)  Electric rammer (See if you need to be equipped with an air pump;

According to the actual depth in the furnace to see whether it is necessary to lengthen the tamping rod, the rod of the tamping rod can be cut off, and the tamping rod is lengthened with a steel rod)

Tamping fork(Make it by yourself according to the following drawing size)

5) shears

6) tape

7) crucible

8) magnet

9) metal block for pressing crucible

10) Strip steel (length from furnace bottom to  mouth)

11) Thread and needle (stitching asbestos cloth to bottom and side of furnace)

12) Asbestos ring

2 Production process

1) The asbestos ring is fixed below the induction coil, and the inside of the ring is aligned with the inside of the induction coil

2) Asbestos fabrics

First measure the size of the bottom of the furnace with a tape measure, and then cut the asbestos cloth matching the size of the bottom of the furnace, the bottom of the furnace asbestos cloth and the side of the furnace asbestos cloth to have a place of superposition, with thread to the bottom of the furnace asbestos cloth and the side of the asbestos cloth stitched together

The size of the asbestos cloth at furnace month is larger than the position of the conbination powder

The asbestos cloth at the hearth should be pressed down with a heavy weight

3) A total of 600KG of conbination powder is needed, and 600KG of conbination powder is separated by magnet to prevent metal substances from mixing into the conbination powder

First take 200KG of conbination powder and water in accordance with the ratio of 100:4 mixing evenly, conbination powder used up continue to stir in accordance with this ratio
The effect of mixing thoroughly is as follows

4) When making the bottom of the furnace, first put the conbination powder into the bottom of the furnace. The thickness of the conbination powder at a time is 80mm.

Use the tamping fork to tamper for 4-5 times, and then change the tamper machine to tamper for 4-5 times.

Then use the tamping fork to scratch the surface of 10mm, and continue to put conbination powder and tamping, the process is the same as the first time, the conbination powder height at the bottom of the furnace is equal to the bottom of the induction coil ,finished

5) Put the crucible, the outer layer of the crucible coated with oil (convenient to pull out the crucible). Put the metal block into the crucible and keep the crucible in position

6) Put the conbination powder to the furnace side, and the thickness of the conbination powder  is 50mm at a time

First use the tamping fork to tamper for 4-5 times, and then change the tamper machine (tamping hammer) to tamper for 4-5 times.

Then use the tamping fork to scratch the surface of the 10mm conbination powder

Continue to add the 50mm thickness of the conbination powder, the first tamping fork tamping 4-5 times, then tamping machine 4-5 times, with the tamping fork scratch the surface, and then add 50mm thickness conbination powder, repeat the above action

Stop 150mm from the furnace mouth,finished

7) conbination powder and Sodium silica solution in accordance with the ratio of 100:6 fully mixed (conbination powder to hold the conbination powder loose forming hand principle) put conbination powder into the furnace side

the thickness of the conbination powder is 50mm at a time

First use the tamping fork to tamper for 4-5 times, and then change the tamper machine (tamping hammer) to tamper for 4-5 times.

Then use the tamping fork to scratch the surface of the 10mm conbination powder

then add 50mm thickness conbination powder, repeat the above action

The shape of the furnace mouth is referred to the material pictures in the back

The conbination powder on the surface of the furnace mouth and nozzle can be sunned with a sieve, and then coated on the surface after being dissolved and stirred by the Sodium silica solution, so that the surface can be smooth (glass bottles can be used as tools to make the furnace mouth smooth).

8) The steel rod is fixed in the crucible's ear, rotate around, and then pull out the crucible, and smooth the position of the furnace mouth by hand

9)  furnace drying

Put the prepared strip steel into the furnace body around the furnace side, the spacing is 20mm, and fill the furnace

Turn on the circulating cooling water first, and then turn on the main power of the equipment, and turn on 10-20% of the total power of the equipment

The equipment will stop after 2 hours of operation

Then turn on 50% power and dry for another 3-4 hours

Pay attention to the temperature of the bar steel during the start-up of the equipment, and avoid melting the bar steel. If there is any sign of melting, immediately reduce the power of the equipment and continue to dry
